Information You Share with pairLab
An account owner is someone who creates an account on pairLab. As an account owner, you provide pairLab with information it needs to manage your account and provide services to you (first name, last name, email address and time zone). You may also share your company name with pairLab; this is optional. pairLab may use the information you provide to communicate with you from time-to-time and to deliver our services.
Account owners who create content on pairLab intend to share certain information with others in the form of surveys. This information does not personally identify you unless you choose to disclose information that others could use to learn who you are. You decide who to disclose survey information to. However, when a survey is in the open state, neither you nor pairLab can prevent it from being shared by others. Carefully consider what sensitive information you disclose in a survey. You are responsible for this information.
A survey participant is someone who participates in an account owner’s survey. As a survey participant, you share certain information with pairLab at the request of the account owner in the course of taking their survey (answers to segment questions, challenge votes, the date and time of challenge votes, submitted ideas and comments). This information is anonymized and aggregated with all other survey participant data for that survey in order to derive results for use by the survey owner. This information does not personally identify you unless you choose to disclose information in the form of a submitted idea or comment that the survey owner could use to learn who you are.
